Forest / Stage 1
Stage Strategy
There's really not much to Forest. The only real strategy here is that destroying the first popcorns with Aura is worth 1000 points instead of 100 for shooting them. You can also gain a (minimal) amount of points by Aura hitting them while they're still above the Stage indicator (enemies above this line are invincible).
You can also get some additional powerups by killing the side pods of the large carrier helicopters that appear after the popcorn enemies. Don't bother trying to chain them into the large battle helicopter later, it's worth very few points and ruins the Axebeak trick. The easiest way I've found to kill the side pods is to Aura kill the front two on the left helicopter, collect the powerups, then fire the charge shot at the right one and wiggle back and forth to hit as many as possible.
After the large carriers, a bunch of small helicopters and a large battle helicopter will appear. You can kill the rocket pods on the large helicopter for Option items.
